hi there,

please help us with this problem,
i recently install Redhat 9.0 with XFree86 4.3.0
everything just fine, and i use the XWindow with no problem at all.

But suddenly after using the XWindow for some 2 months, my Linux
show an error message about couldn't start the XServer, and come up
with this error.log that i attached here. I also attached the configfile
I'll try restarting with fresh configuration just like the Redhat
suggest, but it doesn't work too.

I try re-install the XFree86 with rpm -ivh --force XFree*
using binary files that i download from your XFree86.org sites
and still it doesn't work
this is the error message:

# rpm -ivh --force XFree86-4.3.0-2.i386.rpm
XFree86 [100%]
error: unpacking of archive failed: cpio: lstat failed: Input/Output Error

that's it.
Could you possible help us with a solution. We really appreciate it.
Thanks.

Regards,
@nton
