i am facing this very strange problem since my mom accidentally shut off the Laptop ...it was running mandrake linux 10.0
and i was in KDe and mom put it off even before it could turn off
so now when i am startting the x server
it says no screens foundi tried to figure out a way out
The logfile implies that the XF86Config-4 file is configured to
use a framebuffer device (Driver fbdev), however, the kernel
does not support (or no longer supports) a framebuffer device.
You might want to try changing to the i810 driver (Driver i810
in the Section Device in the XF86Config-4

You need to upgrade software. Your XFree86 version is from
2001. Glancing through the release notes, I see the SiS 650
was supported starting about XFree86 4.3.0 in early 2003.
