I have a problem with my RedHat 9.0 configuration of my Matrox G2+ video
card.
When I run
XFree86 -xf86config XF86Config.new, I get a mouse cursor as an X, that can
be moved across the screen, but no other video.
To get out of this, I hit the CRTL-ALT-BACKSPACE keys.
In addition to the error
I don't know much about the G2+ possibly it is an older card.
However, I had problems with RH 9.0 and Matrox (a G550) I used the vesa driver instead
of the mga
in order to get started then I downloaded the latest driver from the matrox site, it
seems that RH
9.0 is not up-to-date there...
