I believe X creates a virtual screen when you don't list your highest resolutions first. Just make sure your resolutions are going from highest to lowest, and delete all those up until your preferred one is first in the list. My preferred resolution is first in the list, and there is no virtual

Hi... I figured out what I wanted... X automatically creates a virtual screen when you use a resolution smaller than the maximum one available. So, if your modes are: 1024x768 800x600 and you use the 800x600 resolution, X will give you a virtual screen, even if you have disabled it. Now, is
