after installing FreeBSD 4.7 on a P4 machine i tried to configure my
GeForce FX 5200 by downloading its driver from the NVIDIA website (and did
as they've specified). After installation of the driver, the startx command
ended by a crash : the output said that a card was found but was
The GeForce FX 5200 wasn't supported until XFree86 4.3, so
xfree86 -configure isn't going to work with versions older than
that.
