You don't appear to be using a patched server. you need to apply the
mergedfb patch from bugzilla
(http://bugs.xfree86.org/show_bug.cgi?id=276) or use one of my patched
binaries.

The radeon MergedFB mode is identical to the SiS one. Quite a lot of
