I tried building Xvfb on Solaris 8 running on sparc using
nativ sun's compiler. I can successfully build the server
without glx extensions. Problems start when I try to include
glx extensions by adding this line to host.def :

The protocol limits pixel values to UINT_MAX, the maximum that'll fit into a
CARD32. On 32-bit platforms, UINT_MAX is likely to be larger than LONG_MAX.
