I have an HP Pavilion Laptop (ZE4100) with a SXGA+ screen (1400x1050)
that I am triple booting with Solaris 9, XP and Suse 8.1. I found
a mode line for the screen to use with a script that converts to Solaris
format,
and VESA mode is working fine in Solaris, at 1400x1050, 24-bit.

I have included a log file that is getting generated on a Solaris
8/X86 system with the XFree86 4.2 modules.
I'm seeing some consistent behavior -
1024x768, 16 bpp - crash - this is the log file
other resolutions - the X server goes
I'm running Solaris 8/x86 02/02 with the xfree86 driver modules.
Since I just rebuilt my laptop, with a fresh release, I'm running
into a problem with the 1024x768 16bpp mode. All other modes work
correctly, but for some reason, I'm getting an error. However,
I'm not really sure what the error
