Hello list I have installed Suse 8.0 on this laptop everything worked fine expect that the normal resolution of 1024x768 cannot be used. Only 800x600 works fine but it doesn't fill the complete screen, it looks like a window! So therefor I was trying to install the new release 4.3.0 with the experimentel driver to get my radeon IGP 320M work. The installation procedure of the 4.3.0 release went trough fine, but while trying to start the X server after a reboot, the complete laptop hangs. I have red a lot about the Xfree project and also searched the docu for this, but cant get it solved. Any hints about this? And how am I able to aply the experimental driver? I am new to this, so please don't flame me if I did anything wrong :)
