I just bought a new
Dell, the cheap $500.00 model. It comes with an Integrated Intel 3d AGP
graphics card. I installed the new release of Mandrake. Version
9.1.
I am not sure which
release of X it uses but I am sure it is probably a recent release. The
system installed correctly but will not boot into Graphics mode nore can i
"startx".
While thimbing through the X log I ran across this which doesn't mean much to me
but maybe someone can tell me how to resolve this problem.
Only listing the
(WW) and (EE) comments...
(WW) Option
"XkbCompat" requires a string value

ExtendedBios

modes for chosen depth

but none have a usable configuration.
