[XFree86] Error running v4 X under 2.4.16

Hi,

I have a Sony portable with I850 graphic chip running Redhat 7.3 configured
by EmporerLinux (which is fine, running 2.4.20) running v4 of X.  I am also
developing under RtLinux which is currently based on 2.4.16.  The RtLinux
folks say that Xv4 won't run on 2.4.16; EmporerLinux says that it should
run.  Attached are the logs for both boots.  Would you please reconcile?
