Hi Jeremey You don't mention what laptop you're using, but I've been using SuSE 9.0 for a month or so on an HP ze4400 with no problems. When it first came up, it was in 800x600 mode but I went into YAST2 and selected a 1024x768 TFT 70 Hz monitor and all went well. I'd suggest the same approach
