This is a pre-release version of XFree86, and is not supported in any way. Bugs may be reported to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and patches submitted to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Before reporting bugs in pre-release versions, please check the latest version in the XFree86 CVS repository

The XFree86 project cannot provide support for NVIDIA's binary drivers. We can help you get the nv driver that comes with XFree86 working, however. And you should probably get that working first to verify that your XFree86 installation is correct. Mark. On Sun, 19

One of the very few times I ever had XFree crash. However, this is repeatable, happens every time I scroll through the font selection widget in KWord (KDE 3.1.4). I feel the crash is almost certainly related to having a very large number of fonts installed. Xfontsel reports something like 18

Hi, I have attached a log file from X. I had 3 instances of an application running with opengl and I went back and forth between them and then started closing them. When I got to the third one, it finally crashed. Are these kinds of errors possibly caused by a user of X? I developed those

Hi Gentlemen ! My X server crashed under Red Hat 8.0 and I wasn't able to restart it. So I have rebooted the system. I want to report this event, but I'm affraid file /var/log/XFree86.0.log is not enough for detection. So, send me please the list of files (log files) to be sent. Thanks, best
