(apologies if you've already received something like this - I got the addresses wrong)
I've not been able to get a driver to work for an ATI RV100 video 'card' - it's on the motherboard, a Sapphire Axion IGP-320/A3-M275 for AMD. I've tried various combinations, including the radeon driver with XFree86 4.1, and also the ati driver with 4.2.1. From what I can gather it's not recognising the 'card' ID : ATI Technologies Inc: Unknown device 4136 (prog-if 00 [VGA]). It works fine using the vesa driver, but it seems a shame to waste a good chip. Here are the XF86Config-4 http://dannyayers.com/misc/bits/XF86Config-4.txt lspci -v result http://dannyayers.com/misc/bits/lsp.txt log http://dannyayers.com/misc/bits/XFree86.0.log files from the 4.1 attempt (the 4.2.1 are essentially the same). Any suggestions on where to go next would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Danny. ----------- http://dannyayers.com "The lyf so short, the craft so long to lerne." - Chaucer _______________________________________________ XFree86 mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xfree86
