I think you can install in non-graphical mode (I believe the first
Red Hat install screen presented that as an option) and then get an
upgraded version of XFree86 later. Or perhaps the vga driver will
work with that card, but only at 640x480 in 4 bpp.

GeForce4 cards until XFree86 4.3. Alternatively nvidia has
binary drivers available on their web site that should work

you don't need to bother with any driver to download from the intel guys.
Use XFree86 -configure and your card will be recognised.
The card utilises the i810 called driver.
