i think it will work if there wont arise any BIOS/VGA conflicts.
for /etc/X11/XF86Config:
you just have to enter two screen sections, each for a pair of
adapter and monitor. give them different identifiers

Now I have 1 display split between my 2 screens (by running startx --
-layout dual). I've tried do to a startx, and then a startx --
-layout secondary :1 in another Virtual Terminal. This results in
