I have a Dell Laptop with the new ATI Radeon mobility chip- I have checked around and there is not "specific driver" for it - as far as I can tell. Mandrake 8.1 was able to make it work and i do get a so-so display. It looks terrible and scrolling to pages is like reading a folded piece of paper - half the screen has to refresh before i can read on.
does anyone know if Free86 4.2 will have a driver built for this chipset? or does anyone know where to get a driver for 4.1 which can be downloaded and installed?
