Hello foxman, This is normally taken care of by commenting out the line that starts with fonts in your xf86config file. I am not sure until you send the whole file. Your font server isn't running. See the man page on 'xfs'. Also, RedHat probably has some utility to configure and start the font server. It used to be you could enable it via ntsysv. Mark.
