Hmmm,
Bonjour some person at DoList.
I re-downloaded the xav.zip today, but I have the same issue.
I have taken the advice of Charles Frolick and used
http://www.declude.com/tools/mailsend.html rather than sending my own
eicar.com
These are the two versions of XAV I am using.

That message means that either your IP is mapped inside a CustMapsList

your RDNS failed.
Thanks Davide,
It turns out that it was due to Osirusoft being down. Strange that it
was only affecting some emails and not all. I took out the references to
Osirusoft and everything went back to

Hi, Edinilson,
This is regarding to the
XMAIL CONTENT/SPAM FILTER (version 5.00 - 09/13/2003)
When tested by the command cscript contentfilter.js C:\temp\SOME-SPAM-MESSAGE.msg
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ...
( I used - cscript contentfilter.js sample-spam.txt [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL

Which OS are you running? I have not tested it with anything other than
XP and 2003, but I do not know off hand of anything that could cause
issues.
Thanks,

There is an error inside readme.txt
The correct way to test the script is:

Hi Edinilson,
The problem was I changed the line
var Use_SA = false;
to
var Use_SA = true;
after I changed it back it works fine now. The Test passed (in according to
your update of the 127.0.0.1)
Does this mean it still works through SA?

If you are testing a spam file and the script didn't return any error,
something was logged into contentfilter.log
Open it with notepad.

Courier-IMAP looks good, but has troubles with CRLF end of lines,

This troubles make Courier useless in a combination with XMail.
Who knows any other workable XMail/IMAP
Hi Edinilson,
Yes it passed the TEST, and the contentfilter.log recorded some spam
keywords. The test works. However when it comes to live test (sending by
associated email accounts in respect domains) , all spam passed through the
filter and nothing logged.
Users did receive spam.
So, recap

My filter.in.tab is just an example.
You will need to adjust your filter.in.tab and filter/your-domain.tab to fit
your needs and XMail's envinroment.

Hi Edinilson,
I finally get the filter work! I guess it's the whitelist!
'Cause I was using the same domain to do testing spam (duh!), it was whitelisted.
After remove it and restart the xmail service, the filter stops the spam. No mail went
through.
Question for you - when the filter stops
