Can you try this from the XMail machine :

# nslookup -type=mx bpsi.net

Non-authoritative answer:
bpsi.netpreference = 100, mail exchanger = mailhost-2.bpsi.net
bpsi.netpreference = 0, mail exchanger =
Use http://www.uebimiau.org/. This link will get you to uebimiau, which
is a pop3 reader. That's what I use, and it has a nice interface with
it too. This way you won't have to worry about a imap problem, if you
are wanting to go over webmail.

ok - i have an entry in extaliases.tab :
topconcepts.com ruempler tcsoenke
to map my internal adress.
So XMail puts a Reply-To: header in the mail if it's internal.
now we have a internal mailing list called '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' - that has UseReplyTo

Hello xmail admins,
Suddenly mta:s are getting smtp error message 421
when they are connection my xmailserver. I suppose
this message stands for that the xmailserver are
shutting down the connection itself.
Do i assume correctly?

It obviously pick up the lowest. Are you able to send any message (using
the XMail machine as relay) to @bpsi.net ?

Yes, likely. Look at the SMTP log file.

Suggestion for the autoreply.
Instead of using mailer-daemon as the return address, use
username[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Right now, if I have 20 autoreplys set up for people in my company, there is
no easy way to tell which email is from which user. Another option -- add a
custom X-header and check
Ok. And is there anybody who has this solution with mailproc.tab =
workable?
Has anybody detailed recipe of this?
And yes, I'm waiting for XMail's IMAP very very much.

Davide,
I know this is rather simple and silly, but would you consider adding the
extension .log to the logfiles? Under Win32 this would make life a little
bit less annoying. Without the extension, you have to go through a choose
programs list every single time you want to open up a new log
I always just add notepad to my Send To list...its handy for a lot of
things. :)

I agree. On Win32 platform the files withount extensions are rare and
non-standard (although possible).

I cannot be sure that possible autoreply at other side would preserve this

Ok, what about the change in the address name by appending -autoreply to

Ever since then I've always put it last and never seen the problem

Sorry Davide, I think at the time I was just thinking I missed something
in the docs and once the mail was delivered to the mailbox it wasn't
available for anything else. I know, not a good reason, but it was a
late night fix and I forgot all about it. Just remembered to keep
putting it at the
Google Wintail.exe I cant rememeber where I got it but it works great for
looking at log files also in realtime.
