I would like to convert the custom domains into real domains and
create the 100 invalid accounts plus a postmaster account for each
domain. The 50 guessed named accounts will be handled with an empty
mailproc.tab, the 50 ex-employee accounts would have to bounce mail,
perhaps with a 1KB
i have two servers running Xmail, the first is the
server Principal and the sencond works as backup
Mx.
That's a FAQ. Use cmdaliases instead of custom domains (look doc).

It's ok. I get that too. It's the TLS data associated with the main=20
thread, and it is intentionally never freed. It's not a leak since it
is a= =20
one-time allocation. I really do not know what is going on in your=20
machine.
After RSS was ~60MB:

for the SMTP/CTRL header [EMAIL PROTECTED] but the reverse lookup. Is there
any reason why NOT the RootDomain is shown?

Remember to shut down the server cleanly before reporting the leak
log.
Here the XMail.memleaks file for now:

from=0x0808e1b5

You must have missed earlier messages of Davide then. You should
upgrade your glibc library on that machine.

glibc-common-2.2.4-13
glibc-devel-2.2.4-13

I am looking into making a patch to integrate my leak-tracer in
XMail. It= =20
worked better than valgrind yesterday :-/
That would be great since my XMail installations are still leaking (41MB RSS
now on main server, running since 2004-05-31)

Ran the mem debug version here for several day and no leaks were
detected!
Memchecker runs now on the main server. I'll let it run until RSS is 40MB.

And then upgrade the server :-)
The problem is that if RSS goes over X, the system just kills XMail process,
no matter if you have 40 MB or GB RAM :/

Hi,
is it possible to filter out RCPT TO lines in a SMTP filter (if there are
more then one lines) so that I can change the recipient list?

Mhm, the server/valgrind/whatever crashed this evening, I restarted it.
Could you see anything about the mem leaks?

Hi Davide,
File names inside the spool/local directory are hashed and the value
is=20 moduled to the number of LMAIL threads. Each LMAIL thread has
a unique=20 ID (0, ..., N) and it touches only file names whole

I hope you're not saying you're running multiple copies of XMail on
the=20 same $MAIL_ROOT, do you?
Maybe if a restart was unclean?!
Hmm, it's confusing since it dumps all exiting processes. Can you add
a=20 -v --num-callers=3D6 to the command line and stop it after
10-25 minutes= =20
Better sure it to be clean. You absolutely can't run two XMail's on
the=20 same mail root.
Maybe you could add some check in 2.0 ? ;-)
Can you add --leak-check=3Dyes
done. Log is at the known location.
I updated to pre06, too.

Are you killing the server to get dumps, or it just dumps by itslef?
clean shutdown - change valgrind opts - start again is my procedure.

I mean, the log is constatly updated. Does valgrind dumps it

Hi,
I'm having trouble understanding the difference between EXTERNAL
and FILTER, other than the obvious difference in word.
You cannot change the message with external. Also you'd have to
handle notifications by yourself.
Should we give mailprov filtering precendence over filters.in.tab? I
