Mozilla mail. It was in okt-nov 2003. So probably

new versions of Mozilla mail and new Thunderbird

There is one, tedious, workaround. If you copy/move your message to a
Local Folder than the attachment will open fine. This, I tested, with
Thunderbird 0.5.

Correct, and when you move it then back to the Inbox it stays ok,
strange problem.

I have no possibility to test it now, but I will

it as an alternative patch on SmartPost web-site.
courier-imap.diff is tested by me and stabile with
Courier 2.0.0 (some people report that it is
stabile
with newer versions too).
But it is really has an issue with Mozilla mail on
Hmmm? I have been using the diff with ThunderBird on the Win platform
and so far everything works great. I know thunderbird and mozilla mail
are different projects, but if people want to use Mozilla mail, than
give thunderbird a try.
