I work with 'uudeview'. It works great.
If you want to try, find it at 'http://www.fpx.de/fp/Software/UUDeview/'.
You can specify what extension to decode without extract all the mail
content; then, you can watch a specific folder and send the files to the
right place.

I downloaded that and compiled with no problems. I will play with it
today. Big news week with the pope dying and all...
also, thx for the other posts on the correct syntax. I understand it
better now and the command line posted worked just fine.

0 is the priority
0 is the wait-timeout
/usr/local/bin/ripmime is the program that extracts
