Hi all, I was just reading through the 1.24 notes and noticed the OutBind function: It allows to specify the IP of the interface to be used when talking to the remote server. Is there a way that OutBind can be used to tell Xmail to send all outbound mail from a specific IP on the server? (At

Scott, you have guessed correctly 1.24 will allow you to send email from a specific IP address. I must admit - I looked at the Readme expecting to find the answer plain-as-day (searched for 'outbind' and got two hits), and not much explanation on how to use it. One hit is under 'POP3links.tab'

Tracy, your spamtrap emails will be seen as individual addresses until the smtp session is closed, then xmail puts them all in one mbox. Glst will see them all - this will affect your db size - unless you are bypassing glst on your spamtrap emails. Rob :-)
