I just turned on the logs and did a quick test and the logging works fine. I can't believe I never knew that was there... These logs could have helped me several times. Never forget to read again docs :) The database on one server was 21MB. I do a --cleanup once a day, maybe I'll do that a bit more often. After the cleanup I just did it's down to 6MB. Does this cleanup helped for your mails problem ? I have an additional mnet question for you though. How would I actually know what the subnet is that is used for the host IP address? It effectively could be anything, right? From a /8 to a /30. If you mean what is the mask used for the foreign ip, you can't really know it (or you need to ask the ip holders what is used) If you want just to do any process for only one ip, just use 255.255.255.255 mask. Hello... For those of you who don't know Postini -- the company was founded in 1999 in California as a eMail Communication Security and Compliance company. By May 2004 it was relaying 1.4B eMail annually for over 3300 companies. Postini was recently purchased by Google for just over 1/2 Billon Dollars. In one package you get SPAM Filtering, Anti-Spyware and Anti-Virus checking plus a web site to to manage white/black lists and quarantined eMail on a per eMailbox basis. Today, Postini is processing eMails for 40,000 Business with 10M eMailboxes which means 1B eMail messages per day flow thru their systems of which 85% of these messages are blocked as unsolicited or malicious. Of the remaining, about 10% are quarantined and the balance are delivered as clean eMail. For example over the last 30 Days we received 55,000 messages and 6.5% were delivered as clean. We now have a reseller agreement in place and are now signing up our ISP customers for this service.
