Hi,
i'm using now dovecot as an imap-server.
it works good, but there is a behaviour which went me crazy.
if i made a new folder an move some mails there, the pop3-account
collects this (old) mails as new mails and i get the mails twice.
is there a better way?

This is the Postfix program
, the fixup protocol
smtp command changes the characters in the SMTP banner to asterisks
except for the 2, 0, 0 characters. Carriage return (CR) and
linefeed (LF) characters are ignored.

Since there are nearly no spam getting through, we're not currently
using SpamAssasin, and if we did, I don't think we would stop using
CustMapsList.

It stops most of the spam, even though we've had some more spam getting =

Well, this can be done by disabling XMail POP3 sync and=20
using fetchmail to
retrieve mail for those accounts.
=20
fetchmail needs procmail and procmail needs mbox format, or am i going
wrong?
1. fetchmail does not depend on procmail.
2. procmail knows mbox and Maildir formats.
Lars
If your firewall is a checkpoint firewall-1 you can use the smtp security server to
solve this problem. I have done something similar to this before with great success.

Right ? I hope _not_
You could test and check for yourself from an exteral mail account. I =
just did and my xmail responds:

I'm using xmail 1.10.

Now it will return a 500 error message for such a header.

I agree. But I also feel that there are several options that XMail could =
learn from Postfix without getting bloated. I think it would be a Goot =
