I am attaching a tarball with Hugo's Xorg.0.log.
I took a quick look but I do not see any obvious
reason that his OpenGL is not working.
The only odd things I see in the attached log are:
...
(**) intel(0): Tiling enabled
(==) intel(0): VideoRam: 262144 KB
(II) intel(0): Attempting
The object is to have a larger virtual screen than the built in LVDS
1024x600, perhaps 1024x768 or 1280x1024 but I can't seem to make that
happen.
Fedora 10, i386, various rpm packages including (and I may have been too
aggressive removing some from this list)...
# rpm -qa|grep xorg
Hello, I'm Joey Adams, and I'm interested in participating as a
student in Google Summer of Code with X.Org. I hope to learn how to
develop for and contribute to Xorg, and GSoC is just the thing to get
me started.
I'm particularly interested in working in the area of drivers, though
working
I'm currently using Kernel 2.6.28 and updated many drivers for 2.6.29-rc8 which I tried, I had many problem and reverted the Kernel to 2.6.28 and now, when I pan in GIMP (hold the space bar and move in the image), I get the following backtrace:Backtrace:0: /usr/bin/X(xorg_backtrace+0x33)
