Hello, I'm running Xorg's X11 version 6.7.0-2, at least according to rpm, on Fedora Core 2 linux boxes. Old, I know, but that's what I'm stuck with. Upgrades are not possible. I'd like to disable the MIT-SHM extension. Can someone please tell me how to do it with the version of X I am using?

Thank, Maarten. I tried making sure the case I used matched yours. Its giving me an error regardless of case. Extensions is not a valid section name. -John Section Extensions Option MIT-SHM Disable EndSection Should work, providing you don't have an extension section already.
