It has been my experience that the wheel will not work with the M-S48A. While the M-S48 was fine the 'A' variant seems to semd wheel signals that X does not even process ! Any way my M-S48 works fine with : Section InputDevice Identifier Mouse0 Driver mouse

Hi, I installed Red Hat 8.0 that have XFree86 4.2.0 installed. For my graphics card that is a S3 Savage3D/MX, i installed savage driver. In www.xfree86.org i could read that this driver supports 3D acceleration, but in display settings on red hat linux the option of 3d acceleration is disabled.

I changed my CRT to LCD, it works well in my redhat 8.0, but I found a problem: the manual for this LCD says the refresh rate is recommended set to 60HZ at 1024*768, but XFree86 will automaticly search for the highest refresh rate possiblely which is 75HZ in my box. Can somebody point me the way
