A more complete explanation is that I made changes to XKB and its
interface to the XFree86 DDX so that special keys like Ctrl-Alt-Bkspc
are no longer handled internally by the DDX common layer
(i.e. xf86Events.c), but are passed to XKB like any other key. XKB is

X gurus,
Can anyone help with using the new Radeon9000 driver support with
Xinerama? The setup is as follows:
One AGP Nvidia 4400 (middle display)
Two PCI Radeon 9000s (left and right displays)
All displays at 1600x1200 (DVI)
Latest X from CVS
Binary drivers from Nvidia
Linux 2.4.19-16mdk
Would I be right in assuming that (for the XFree86 server):
1 The non specifying of the -sp option to the server
results in the use of a default security policy file.
2 The strongest curtailment of untrusted clients is obtained
by specifying -sp /dev/null to the server.
Cheers.

Did you ever manage to find a fix for it? I'm currently running into the same

had posted a note to an (xfree?) mailing list with a similar difficulty.

Friends; my .xinitrc doesn't seem to want to run on OSX when I manually

Thank you for the information, but I am somewhat confused. I am looking for
documentation that tells me how to backup X Window System configuration
files. I must admit I am just starting out on Linux and maybe what you
provided is what I need but the XFree86 does not register with me.
Thanks

changed it to 16, but
