Hi
Not that I did understand so much of the last part of the message, I sometimes got a similar bug!
Don't know why it happens, but sometimes when I have been pressing CTRL, the systems misses the event when I released it again and the result is that the mouse continues to select text instead
Hi
How do I make X start up with NumLock on?

Hi
setleds only works from a tty - not an xterm!
I have manage sometime to get the NumLock turned on as default for all ttys and vtys - don't ask me how! But when I start X, it automaticaly disables the NumLock on that vty. I tried to bypass that with the setleds command in my windowmaker
Hi...
I have the same problem with the same card
See the thread started by me on nov. 5 [S3 Trio 3D]
Well the end of my story was, that I was able to punh my video card up to 1280x960 using the VESA driver, but i had awfull slow refresh rates (eyes hurt) - And I could not change
Just tried that... same result...
(Asumed that Horisync was in khz and VertRefresh was in hz)

No, I don't believe the Trio3d hardware supports anything above 24 bit

With s3virge...
Went back from vesa to virge because the modelines did not seem to have
any effect on the vesa driver and even though I wanted a higher
resolution, I would not suffer the low refresh rate that the vesa gave
me!

i know
x 768 and the only
difference was where on the screen the picture was placed... (oh well
and the refresh rate...) but I thought it had no effect on the driver
generating the picture...!?!?!?

If the server is older than 6-12 months, or if your card is
newer than the above date, look for a newer version
