To further describe the problem: it's best visible with dark text on
bright background, where the letters have bright ghosts to the
right. It looks like dark text above bright text, shifted a bit to
the side.
Defect connectors or cable can give echoes like that, especially if

The picture is much worse than what I could get from the ATi card.
