Hello
As pointed out by the .mil guy who had to leave, i too am now being
questioned about this email list. I get reports of viruses emailed to
me and the sysadmin regularly.
Would it be possible to moderate this list? or a least filter the
domains that spam tends to come from so that the

Are you running anti-virus software?
My company mail server is, it has not let any virus through so far, its
just the email to me and the CC: to my sys admin/boss that means I get
people inquiring all the time about why I am on lists that get viruses
regularly.
I agree
Hello
I would like to record a demonstration of my program running in X
4.1.0, could someone tell me if this is possible?
Is it possible to log X commands and then generate an MPEG or other
video format from that data? or is it possible to capture video in real
time?
The other option I would

Hello,
I have just checked and it seems this is not the right tool to make a
video from X.
Could you recomend a prgram that can generate a video output from X ?
even in vector format as long as I can play it back.

Hello
I posted a message last week. I got a reply of a work around from John
Tapsell. I had used that work around before.
I would like to request that a default mouse feature be added. This
would be fairly simple to add I think. I am sure that I am not the only
one interested in a feature like

Sorry I missed that one, I did not think of fixing the Mouse using a
roundabout way like using a different server layout. But if it works, i

Hi,
Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction on this.
I have a 45cm [17.7 inch] (diaganal), 36cm x 27.2cm CRT that I would
like to configure with a screen mode that has the correct dpi. Currently
displaying a 10cm x 10cm square at 72dpi ends up 7cm x 7.5cm. I could

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the reply.
From this i can conclude that the gimp does not choose the display size
relative to the dpi of the display, i assumed 10cm at whatever dpi would
always be scaled to 10cm on the particular display.
So really unless i set the resolution to 1024x768 i'm not going
