Well,

in general i like this functions.
I thought more like a like check function which checks the link time
by time if the site is still available ( so after n times it could be
taged with a special tag, or something else or just mark it).

An automatic update is realy not a good solution only i active it. But
in that case a history function would help (store the links in a cms).

Another nice function is support during input a link cleanup.

seems for me allways the same site. Is there a way the solve this?


btw. 
i would prevere a communite process or a feature list where people can
see what is next and vote for features.
