To paraphrase Grace Hopper, the great thing about tagging backends is that there are so many to choose from. Seriously, deversity is a good thing. And I think there's plenty of room for specialization in the back ends (tagging mappoints, photos, and news stories), since this helps disambiguate tags by context. My favorite new social bookmarking service is CommonTimes.org, which I blah-blahed about here: http://hybernaut.com/commontimes-20050721 Now this discussion is no longer Delicious-specific. Maybe we could take it to another list? -- Brian Del Vecchio | [EMAIL PROTECTED] | http://hybernaut.com/ _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@del.icio.us http://lists.del.icio.us/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/discuss
