Yeah, it does a dropdown when you type stuff in, a la Google Suggest.
I typically have all of my relevant tags pre-defined; clicking on them
is far quicker in this case.
I'm enjoying the
apologies to Bill, meant to send this to the entire list in case other
people were having similar problems.

How about a screenshot? The plugin doesn't do anything to the main
browser window.

Happens on both OS X and Win32 with the 1.5rc3 and 20051128 FireFox
nightly builds.

Well it's definately nicer than the last one... but I still don't see
how it is any much different / better than the bookmarklets??

At a guess, it's easier to sell non-technical users on a plugin than
on bookmarklets.

I like the fact that the popup for the tagging doesn't appear behind
my current window. I like additions to the right click menus.
The only thing I miss is that when I click with the mouse wheel on the
delicious icon, Id love for it to behave like my home icon, opening in
a new tab.

Just courious -- how come you went with a FF-only project, given the
low percentage of all users on Firefox, Joshua?

Would it be possible to move the delicious menu into a submenu of
Tools, like most other extensions do?

Yeah, but that low percentage is for the web in general. Delicious
users, being of good taste, prefer Firefox much more than IE; we're
about split

I would be glad to try this but firefox just hangs. The output message
in terminal
*** Failed to load overlay chrome://delicious/content/deliciousOverlay.xul
actually, I unzipped delicious.jar

neat! Works great, what I like most:
- saved space in my personal toolbar
- possible to tag mp3s and pdfs by possibility of right-clicking on the
link
- that show related tags and users entry in the dropdown menu
thanks a lot, makes del.icio.us better
