I'm not discouraged. I see this as being part of the plan. God has
already told us what would happen in the last days. So, why worry? Do
your part, and know that Christ will come out victor in the end. That is
where hope lies, in seeing beyond this earthly realm, and into the
heavens beyond.
So, you are saying that pretty much any one could impress you

I would have to say it is a little hard to pay taxes in a state where so
many people mooch off the the goverment's taxes funded programs. It is hard
to pay such high taxes for so many people who come from other countries for
the sole purpose of getting free health care. Yes the schools are

Well, I think Sara's oversimplified things a bit, probably
indulged a few too many caricatures.
I doubt many come to Boston to get free health care. Also, our
taxes do pay to bring kids out of the inner city to schools in
the wealthier suburbs. About 4-5 percent of the kids in the

I agree, we must stand for the right. We also must not be afraid to
establish the idea that homosexuality is a sin and evil and is bad for
society. Why do so many have so little to say against it? Because
they've given up the good/evil platform. When

Gas prices have now reached record high levels in the US. Over $2 per
gallon in some areas.
Isn't it a good thing we mounted such an effective imperialistic war
against the Iraqis, just so we could steal away their oil? I can
imagine what the prices would be otherwise.
Dear Jim,
Supply would be greater without the Iraq invasion, so prices would be
lower. Supply/demand would force prices lower. It is also not the end of
the world if we have to just do without cars. We existed before they were
here, we will exist when they are gone.
Peace and all
Guess what I've been working on?
Here's some data I've been collecting recently. The first
column is how much gas actually was way back when. The second column
is how much we would have to pay for that same gallon of gas using
today's dollars. The third number is the percentage of the
