unmerge anything not needed by other packages.
For example, I use a perl script called zenus (specific to my ISP) and
/etc/portage/sets/zenus-deps contains
dev-perl/SOAP-Lite
perl-gcpan/SOAP-DateTime

dev-perl/Data-Dumper-Concise
Those packages may or may not be needed by
