As Unwired Solutions Evangelist for iAnywhere Solutions, a subsidiary
of Sybase, Inc., Martyn Mallick is responsible for evaluating and
prototyping cutting-edge technologies to drive development of new
solutions in the wireless arena. Mr. Mallick focuses heavily on the
development of "always available" m-Business solutions - enabling
mobile workers to remain productive regardless of network
availability. iAnywhere Solutions has been named the market leading
vendor of mobile database solutions by Gartner Dataquest for the past
six consecutive years. Mr. Mallick holds a Bachelor of Science in
Systems and Computing Engineering from the University of Guelph in
Guelph, Ontario.
Diana Ungersma is AvantGo's Sr. Product Manager for Messaging. In
this role she is responsible for business strategy, market definition
and product implementation of AvantGo's messaging product line
including the award winning AvantGo Pylon Application Server and
Pylon PIM Server. Prior to taking over responsibility for the
messaging product line, Diana was Product Manager for AvantGo's
Enterprise product, the M-Business Server. Prior to joining AvantGo
in March of 1999, Ms. Ungersma spent three years at Maxspeed, a
manufacturer of thin-client devices based on the Windows CE and Linux
platforms. At Maxspeed she held roles as Marketing Manager and
subsequently Product Manager. Before that Ms. Ungersma served in
various positions in the graphic design industry including roles at
Banta Digital Services, Data-Based Marketing and Wall Street Journal.
