GLOSSARY:  Domino Dictionary Challenge: Brrrr.....
This is a system for archiving data such as business records and reports to one or more optical disks in a compressed but easily retrievable format. These systems make it unnecessary to archive reports in printed form and are easier to work with than microfiche, an earlier solution.

The Missing Link

Rock 'n' roll holy water leaves building -- for eBay
[Reuters]
eBay is turning into so much more than a mere auction site. It's becoming a computer-age freak show that would make P.T. Barnum wonder if suckers were born every 30 seconds. eBay, which gave us a Senate candidate's sweat-covered napkin; a partially eaten grilled cheese with (supposedly) a likeness of the Virgin Mary lightly toasted into the bread; and (briefly) a throat lozenge spat out by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, now has sold about three tablespoons of water from a cup thirsty Elvis drank from during a concert months before his death in 1977. The seller snagged the cup after the show and kept the water frozen all these years. The winning bid? $455 -- "thangya ver' much."
