If a sender address does not include the domain part, the fully qualified
hostname of the James server is used. If the fully qualified hostname cannot
be determined, localhost is used.

This is required to construct a MailAddress which is required to construct a
MailImpl, otherwise the mail can't be delivered.

I haven't tried them and clearly misunderstood some of the messages on the
list. In this case I will certainly switch to using attributes.
