Right now our server has 3M files ( which should be 1.5M emails ) in
the spool and I'm trying to find a way to quickly process them. Reading
and writing to the disk every time the emails goes from one processor to
another is slow and and our configuration has several processors. I
changed the configuration to have less processors.
With many mails the db based spool repository is much better.
Change of processor is done by updating few fields in a db record.
