Feasibility of an idea

Hi James team,

I'm totally new to James (just read the website), and I'm not sure if 
I'm on the  good mailing list (maybe mailet ML more adapted ?)...

So, I would like to do this :
1) for each mail received, rebuild the "mailing thread"
2) output each mail and/or thread in an xml formatting

There is something "out of the box" responding to each need ?

If no, do you it's could be easy / hard / very hard to do this (for a 
James newbie) ?
