Unfortunately that won't work in this particular instance. The SCSM Service account is restricted from logging on locally and is the account that should be used for the DW registration. I fail to understand why a local logon is necessary when it has logon as a service rights. Additionally all of the connectors have corresponding service accounts with the same restrictions. So in this environment, SCSM is totally useless.

That can only be done by unregistering the DW and then registering with the new service account (Travis, please confirm). I've done this a few hundred times troubleshooting cubes, but here's the link to MS's instructions, in case you need them: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh519811.aspx If you click the Administration wonder bar, then click Administration in the pane, you'll see the area to complete the process. You'll use the new service account when reregistering.
