Not much is written on the grinding because it is really stright forward. If you have a 525 mount and try to put it on a later tranny it will be very obvious what you need to do. It is onlya small amount of grinding really 5 mins of work if you have a bench or angle grinder.

The poly mounts are a benefit all the way around if you want stiff mounts. They do vibrate a bit though.

Subject: SD> A523 --> GLHS Q's

Hi all. Questions about putting an A523 into my GLHS.

1st
Motor mount. Transmission motor mount. Is the A523 mount different from the
A523 mount. Which one do I use? I've heard that "grinding" is required as
well, but I've never found anymore information on this.

2nd
Motor mounts. Which ones should be poly mounts and which ones don't benefit
from it? I'd like to order mounts soon.

Feedback is appreciated guys!
Mike
