I was under the impression that the Feb 2005 event was "the" SAAC 31 event,
but that is not true. It is a west coast annual event only, not the main event of the year.

Your post to the SDML is kind of misleading.

The February 2006 event you posted about is not the annual SAAC
convention. It is a western area get together that occurs every February
in Las Vegas. Just like previous years its called SAAC Does Vegas xx.

Everyone has always been invited, in fact I've attended it twice.

These winter SAAC events have been taking place pretty much since the
1998 Opening of the LVMS.

Don't mean to be a downer but I feel people are being mislead by your
post that the annual SAAC convention is being held in Vegas, which it is
not, and that the Dodge cars are welcome to participate, which they are
not. Ford powered cars are a requirement for SAAC conventions.
