Actually, this is not true. :) It appears that SuSE uses a mix of both already documented styles. Just like Mandriva and RH you can pin down rpc.mountd by setting the desired port $MOUNTD_PORT in /etc/sysconfig/nfs, and for rpc.lockd ports you can use /etc/sysctl.conf directly just like in Debian.
