Hi everyone,

we're happy to announce the first sigrok release, sigrok 0.1.
Thanks to everyone who contributed to the project and made this possible!

The source tarball can be downloaded from:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/sigrok/files/source/

The (very short) release notes for this release can be viewed at:
http://sigrok.org/wiki/Releases

Binaries are not planned for 0.1; a Debian package, a Windows installer,
and possibly a DMG file for Mac OS X are work-in-progress and should be
available in later releases, though.

There's also some more portability work required. Testers, bug reports,
and patches for all architectures, especially Linux, Windows, Mac OS X, and
FreeBSD are highly welcome.

This initial release includes the command-line tool sigrok-cli, supporting
a number of logic analyzers (Saleae Logic, Openbench Logic Sniffer,
ASIX SIGMA, Zeroplus Logic Cube and a demo driver) to a certain degree.
It also supports a number of output formats such as bits, hex, ascii,
binary, vcd, ols, and gnuplot.

Further features such as a GUI, protocol decoders, libs with proper APIs,
support for more logic analyzer hardware and input/output modules is
scheduled for one of the next releases.

Stay tuned for more exciting news in the nearer future!

Uwe.
