Dear IRIS Family,

The IRIS Center is pleased to announce the posting of the newly revised and
expanded Using Learning Strategies: Instruction to Enhance Student Learning.

In this module, you'll follow along with Mr. Carter, a middle-school general
education teacher, as he tries to find a solution to the inconsistent progress
of a number of his students. Lately, Mr. Carter has noticed that these
students' assignments are late, incomplete, incorrect, or not turned in at all.
Because his class seems to be experiencing a variety of problems, Mr. Carter
decides to make an appointment to speak with Ms. Lin, the lead teacher. He
hopes she can help him come up with some answers.

As always, we encourage you to share all of our materials
http://iris.peabody.vanderbilt.edu/ with your colleagues and students. If you
have any questions concerning IRIS materials, please contact Kim Skow at
800-831-6134, [EMAIL PROTECTED], or [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Sincerely,

The IRIS Center
