There is a correction to the event reminder. The February 19 webinar is
90 minutes in length and ends at 5:00pm ET, not 5:30pm. 

 

Also, Hollie Filce, Mississippi's SPDG Project Director, will join Pat
Mueller when she discusses video conferencing technology.

This is a reminder for this week's Joint Directors and Evaluators'
Webinar- February 19, 3:30-5:30pm ET (details below). We are delighted
to have Larry Edelman present on 'How to use technologies for
collaborating and distance communication'. In addition, Pat Mueller,
will share her experiences using video conferencing and Pattie Noonan
will provide a brief demo on Moodle, a Course Management System (CMS),
or a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). It is a free web application
that educators can use to create effective online learning sites.

Larry Edelman's PowerPoint file and related document will be emailed a
day prior to the event. For those who cannot attend the internet portion
of this session, please email Audrey (adesj...@uoregon.edu) to request
the teleconference number and access codes. And for those who cannot

opens, type your full name in the Enter as a Guest field, then select
the button: Enter Room.
2. Audio-Conferencing is accessed via the online meeting room. Upon
entering the room, a teleconference dialogue box will appear on your
screen. Type your area code and phone number and select the button call
me. Your phone will ring and you will be joined to the conference. For
those who cannot be dialed directly please use the phone number provided
in the 'chat' pod screen.
